Our Story
Timeline |
|
Date | Development |
October 2013 | Irshad institute starts out in a small basement room with 20 dedicated students. |
2015 | The number of students from the various programs has reached 50 and ranges from 4 years to 60+ years. Several students have successfully memorized the Holy Qur’an, while others attained the Sanad certificate by the grace of Allah. |
2016 | We recognize the need for a more comprehensive and structured approach to teaching students that attend public schools. We start developing programs that would build their foundation in Islamic studies in addition to giving them the lifelong skill of reciting the book of Allah as it was revealed. |
July 2017 | We outgrow the small basement room and sublet a larger space. Irshad Institute conducts its first summer camp program for children. |
September 2017 | We launch our comprehensive Islamic Studies and Qur’an programs. Most of our summer camp students register in the year-round programs. |
November 2017 | With over 80 registered students, once again we outgrow the space we are in. |
December 2017 | We sign the lease for a 4000 sq ft location that meets our growing needs. |
